Ladies, you’re warmly invited to the Aspire Ladies Away Day on Saturday 7th June, from 9am to 5pm at the Community of St. Mary the Virgin in Wantage – a beautiful and peaceful venue just 45 minutes away from Reading.
What to Expect
A Refreshing & Restorative Day
The day will begin with devotional time and worship, followed by the freedom to shape your experience. Whether you prefer quiet reflection or engaging activities, there’s something for everyone:
- Prayer & Reflection – A peaceful chapel for personal or group prayer
- Fellowship & Connection – Comfortable lounges, a library, and an art room with crafts
- Nature & Serenity – Beautiful gardens, a water garden, an orchard, and a labyrinth for reflection
- Exploration – Walk the nearby Ridgeway path or visit Wantage town centre and The Vale & Downland Museum
Food & Refreshments:
- Refreshments will be available throughout the day.
- A freshly prepared two-course meal will be provided, using seasonal ingredients from the Convent’s kitchen garden when available.
- Dietary requirements can be catered for—please let us know in advance.
