Alpha is an opportunity to explore the big questions of life, meaning and purpose.

It will be run over a period of eight weeks and you will discover the basics of the Christian faith. There will be a high-quality presentation (on video) and then you will have the chance to say what you think. It’s relaxed, free and no question is out of bounds – so you are free to say as much or as little as you wish.

This year we are taking the course online! Join us as we explore the big questions of life together.

What can I expect?

There will be a talk which is designed to engage and inspire conversation. Usually around thirty minutes long, they will be given both as a live talk and video. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions from Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith? to Why and how do I pray? and How does God guide us?

We then finish off with discussion, which is probably the most important part of any Alpha; the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and simply discuss it in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say. It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.
