The whole world is facing a time of uncertainty, however, as believers, we do believe in the power of prayer. Even in this crisis that the world is facing, God is still God, who is in control of all things.
As Paul writes in Ephesians 6, we are in a battle and we recognise that “we wrestle not against flesh and blood” but that we are urged to “pray at all times in the spirit, with all prayer and supplication.” (Ephesians 6:12,18)
The Elim National Leadership Team are calling all Elim churches to prayer. They are asking every Elim leader and member, to a Day Of Prayer on Good Friday, 10th April.
Chris Cartwright, the Elim General Superintendent says “We are calling for prayer through the Lens of Easter. As we come to Him from the perspective of God’s amazing love for us, of Jesus’ death and resurrection and the promise of the Spirit’s presence and power, we believe that God will move mightily in our current situation according to His Word and His promises. Let our faith in the Risen Christ and His relentless love and passion for people drive and energise our prayers.”
On Good Friday, after our morning communion service at 10.30am, we will host a prayer meeting at 12pm online.
Details on how to join this meeting will be emailed to our church members. If you do not regularly receive emails from All Nations and would like to, click here to sign up to our database.
Note that this online meeting will be using Zoom conferencing, which requires you to install an application on your computer, tablet or phone. Instructions on how to do this can be found at the bottom of this page.
