Last month I had the opportunity to lead a trip to Israel, and as we walked the streets of Jerusalem, I was reminded of the events 2,000 years ago; the place where God had come into this world in the person of Christ. I began to think not only of God’s salvation in the death and resurrection of Christ, but also of the miracle of modern-day Israel. God still has His hand on this nation – He is a covenant keeping God! In Genesis 13:15 we read the promise that God made to Abram:

I will give all the land that you see to you and your descendants forever.

Genesis 13:15

God will not break His promise and we can see that He has not given up on Israel as a nation.
