The Church
All Nations Christian Centre is based in Reading. The church was planted in 1928 by George Jeffreys and soon moved into its own building in Waylen Street. It remained there for many years until in, 1989, the purchase of St. Saviours Anglican church was completed. For a number of years, the church maintained the name St. Saviours. Around fifteen years ago, the church became All Nations Christian Centre (ANCC).
The church is a multigenerational and culturally diverse Elim church with a rich heritage of gifted pastors and a heart for missions. Following the retirement of our longstanding Senior Pastor, Billy Fenning, and the appointment two years ago of Keith Jackson to the role, we are seeking an assistant/associate pastor.
The Vision
Why we are here: To make Jesus known to everyone, everywhere.
Where we are heading: To make Jesus known to everyone, everywhere, is a big vision! To achieve this we have crystallised our values. There are many, many good things we could be doing as a church, so we have sharpened our focus. Here are our four priorities for the next phase of our growth as a church:
- Mission: Reaching out with the Good News, both home and away.
- Discipleship: Teaching and equipping people to become more like Jesus.
- Worship: Facilitating authentic worship where everyone is invited to encounter the presence of God.
- Legacy: Nurturing and investing in our children, teenagers and young adults – the future church today.
